FAQ

❓What is a 4x prism scope best used for?

A 4x prism scope provides fixed magnification for clear target identification at mid range while keeping the optic compact, making it a practical choice for AR platforms, PCCs, and airsoft rifles.

❓What is the advantage of an etched reticle in a prism optic?

Unlike a standard red dot, an etched reticle remains visible without illumination or battery power, providing a consistent aiming reference even when illumination is turned off.

Is a 4x prism scope a good alternative to an LPVO?

It can be. A 4x prism scope offers fixed magnification in a compact package with fewer adjustments, while an LPVO provides variable magnification and true 1x capability for greater flexibility.

Should I choose a 3x or 4x prism scope?

A 3x prism generally favors a wider view and easier close-to-mid-range use, while a 4x prism provides slightly more target detail for shooters who prioritize mid-range precision.

Can you use a magnifier with a prism scope?

Yes, since this 4X32 prism scope already has a fixed magnification of 4x, which work well for 100-500 yards, a magnifier is not really necessary. However, if you want more magnification you can mount magnifier with it.

Is a prism scope better than a red dot?

Prism scopes do have something superior to a red dot, like magnification, various types of reticle, better image quality, more friendly to astigmatism, and it can work even if the power runs out. However, if you care more about the compact size, light weight, free eye relief, stronger reticle brightness and long battery life, and you only need close range shooting(15-150yards), a red dot sight is more ideal for you.
