What is a BDC reticle on a scope?
BDC reticle is the bullet drop compensator crosshairs, it helps to compensate for the hop-up effect and windage at different distances. If you zeroed your rifle at 100 yards, then you can predict how much a bullet will drop at 200 yds, 300 yds… However, the calculated trajectory is depended on the bullet type, so you will also need a ballistic calculator of the bullets you use.
